Three ocean model domains have been generated and calibrated

for tidal forcing:

 

Oahu, Hawaii (including Pearl Harbor)

Text Box: The minimum horizontal resolution of the models is 900-1000 m, and the maximum resolution (around the edges of the domains) is ~2 km. The minimum water depths are <1 m. There are nine vertical levels in the top 100 m of the water column.

Kauai, Hawaii (including the island of Niihau)

Hawai’i (the Big Island)
